About Me in 185 Words
Robert “Rex” Schuller started his professional life at age 12 in the basement of the local science museum, dressed in a white lab coat and teaching visitors basic physics principles using toys.
By the time he was 18, he had toured internationally with a boys choir, had worked on-air at four broadcast stations, and had graduated from Houston’s High School for the Performing and Visual Arts.
After earning a psychology degree from the University of Houston, he worked his way up the corporate ladder, finishing as the Chief Financial Officer of a vehicle and equipment leasing company. He became a Certified Internal Auditor and Certified Public Accountant.
He reclaimed his creative life by training as a voiceover actor, and has since tackled creative projects with a vengeance: he learned to spin fire and stilt-walk, though not at the same time… yet; he apprenticed under an award-winning art car artist; and founded a burlesque troupe.
Now known as the “Well-Balanced” Arts Accountant, he helps artists, performers, and writers hone their business skills & maximize their success by using both his artistic right-brain and his analytical left-brain.
